Bragg Organic Raw Apple Cider Vinegar $3 at Kroger

Bragg Organic Raw Apple Cider Vinegar $3 at Kroger

I recently decided to give raw apple cider vinegar a try for health purposes. I was already curious. Then I read this post on Tosca Reno’s blog and I just had to see what it might do for me. I also want to try the beef bone broth cleanse Tosca raves about and vinegar is needed to help draw out calcium and minerals from the bones. I was thrilled to find Bragg Raw Apple Cider Vinegar on sale at my Kroger (Southwest Region) for $3 per 32 ounce bottle. That’s the cheapest I’ve seen it. It’s $4.20 for a 32 oounce bottle or $19.99 a gallon on Amazon.

It takes some getting used to, but I’m not afraid of a little yucky taste for the benefit of my health. I’ve been drinking 2 teaspoons in 8 ounces of water 2-3 times a day for about 2 weeks. Unless it’s my imagination, my complexion seems to be a little brighter. In the last couple days I have noticed more energy and clearer thinking. It is supposedly great for acid reflux, which my mom suffers from. I had her try some and she said it did help. It seems odd that an acidic product can help with stomach acid issues, but if it works it works, right? I would suggest you mention it to your health care provider first if you are having recurring heartburn/indigestion or other tummy issues.

I will keep you posted on the broth cleanse. I’m not sure exactly when I will start it. Do any of you use raw apple cider vinegar regularly or have experience with the broth cleanse? I will say, I’m normally not a fan of cleanses or fasts, but this seems do-able for me and for the first time ever, I really feel an urge to cleanse for just a few days.
